USE

Induction heating for continuous bright annealing, in a controlled atmosphere with pure Hydrogen, of stainless steel welded pipes. Equipment to be cleaned with Argon.

TYPICAL APPLICATIONS

Food industry, like for example machinery for refrigerating drinks; chemical and pharmaceutical industry; heat exchanger ecc.

WORK PROCESS

The system is installed downstream TIG or laser weld lines. The temperature during the annealing process, is of approx. 1200°C; then the subsequent conduction-cooled system avoids making circulate large gas volumes. Due to the controlled atmosphere, the pipe produced is cleaned and polished.

COMPOSITION

Gas control system, cooling tunnel, adjustable support frame, water cooling system, temperature control system and control desk.

2. MEDIUM FREQUENCY GENERATORS FOR POLYETHYLENE COATING EQUIPMENT

EQUIPMENT TYPE

Static frequency converter.

OUTPUT FREQUENCIES

Ranging from 0.3 to 4 KHz

USE

Heating of carbon steel pipes to be coated with thin polyethylene film, improving corrosion and dust resistance of pipes.

TYPICAL APPLICATIONS

Gas pipelines, oil pipelines, aqueducts.

WORK PROCESS

The steel pipe passes though the inductor and is heated to a temperature, that can vary from 180 to 200°C, according to the coating technology required.
A primer is then applied to the outside surface of the pipe, which is then coated with the polyethylene film.

COMPOSITION

Main power supply transformer, closed-circuit distilled water cooling unit, inductors, inductor support, control desk and pyrometric temperature control.

3. MEDIUM FREQUENCY SEAM ANNEALING EQUIPMENT

EQUIPMENT TYPE

Static frequency converter.

OUTPUT FREQUENCIES

Ranging from 3 to 4 KHz

USE

To normalize the weld seam in compliance with API standards.

WORK PROCESS

In-line weld seam annealing process to restore, the metallurgic characteristics that were present prior to the induction welding process, on the portion of the pipe around the weld seam.

FEATURES

Output power from 300 to 550 kW per unit and based on the thickness and advancement speed of the pipe. The static frequency converter can be placed at a distance from the profiling line, while the annealing heads equipped with a linear inductor, are positioned directly on the pipe to be annealed, immediately downstream of the weld area.

Gas and oil pipelines or fuel transport.

4. PATENTED HIGH FREQUENCY EQUIPMENT FOR “REFRIGERATOR” TUBE ANNEALING

EQUIPMENT TYPE

High Frequency generator.

OUTPUT FREQUENCIES

Ranging from 260 to 400 KHz

USE

In-line annealing, in a controlled atmosphere, of induction welded carbon steel tubes.

WORK PROCESS

Induction annealing at approx. 900° C in a controlled atmosphere (generally Nitrogen and Hydrogen) of tubes having a diameter between 11 and 12,7 mm. and cold – reduced in line before annealing treatment bringing the minimum diameter of 4.76 mm.. Such equipment enables annealing speeds of 500 m/min. to be achieved.

TYPICAL APPLICATIONS

Typically used to manufacture condensers for refrigerators.

COMPOSITION

High Voltage power supply unit, rectifier, radio frequency oscillator to which a heating inductor is connected with an outlet to supply the controlled atmosphere, controlled desk, closed-circuit distilled or de-mineralized water cooling unit, pyrometric temperature control and control desk.

5. PATENTED EQUIPMENT FOR DOUBLE-WALLED TUBE BRAZING

EQUIPMENT TYPE

Combined induction heating equipment consisting of one medium and one high frequency generator.

OUTPUT FREQUENCIES

8 KHz for medium frequency generator
270 KHz for high frequency generator

WORK PROCESS AND FEATURES

In-line continuous brazing, in a controlled atmosphere of double-walled piping. These small pipes, with a minimum diameter of min. 4,76 mm., are obtained from a copper-plated carbon steel strip. During the moulding process the strip is wound into a coil, so that after the induction heating process in a controlled atmosphere, the copper-plated surfaces guarantee the continuity of brazing along the entire transverse section of the pipe, due to the diffusion of the cooper. The piping thus obtained will withstand operating pressures of several bar and is generally tested at 2000 bar.

TYPICAL APPLICATIONS

Typically used for motor vehicle braking systems.

COMPOSITION

Medium and high frequency generators along with inductors, adjustable support, cooling system, double pyrometric temperature control system, double automatic device to adjust the power of the two generators and control desk.
