The so-called “conventional” technology developed by EMMEDI has tended to follow a similar process of evolution, achieving excellent results using electronic tubes with characteristics, declared by the manufacturer, of high level efficiency (>70%) and a service life of even more than 40,000 hours, and also the fact that they are always available on the market.

Another important characteristic of EMMEDI induction welding generators is their extremely simple installation which does not require any particular preparation of the site except for laying of the electrical connections and of the cooling water pipes by the customer according to simple instructions provided beforehand.
In particular, the characteristic connection, consisting of a flexible coaxial cable provided with the system, means that the independent, reduced size output cabinet can be positioned directly on the welding bench thus facilitating, within certain restrictions, siting of the other cabinets according to available space.
Prior to delivery, all EMMEDI systems undergo searching testing and comply with the requirements for CE marking and current legislation in the countries of destination.
This scrupulous preliminary preparation promotes extremely simple use of the system and considerably restricts maintenance operations.
Moreover, EMMEDI’s generator range also includes so-called “Variable Frequency” models able to cater to all possible requirements, such as for example those of customers who produce ferritic and/or austenitic stainless steel pipes. These are equipped with a particular device that can be used by the operator, with a simple switch housed on the control panel, to select the most suitable output frequency for that specific type of production. In this way, the same profiling line can be used to produce pipes made of different material, of different thickness and diameter, optimizing welding case by case and also exploiting the possibility of adjusting the output frequency of the High Frequency generator.
